This section opens with a series on the learning process(es). This well written, organized series provides a broad introductory view of the field of human learning.Human learning is not only of interest in terms of how the human brain will be able to keep up with the exponentially increasing body of all existent knowledge, but in relation to learning machines, artificial intelligences, that many scientists are hoping can be developed in hte future to organically acquire “common sense” the way human infants do naturally.

The fundamental nature of these articles will serve well as a foundation for more specialized content coming in the 2014.
